Artist and musician John D. Morton founded the nascent proto-proto-punk band The Electric Eels in Cle, Ohio in 1972. In 2001, Scat Records released The Eels , "the eyeball of hell" with two separate cover images by Mr. Morton for the deluxe double vinyl and CD editions. "eyeball" has been garnering rave reviews.

Amoeba (raft boy), Mr. Morton's most recent foray into music in 1997 will have its first release "Bad Fuggum from the Mysterium" this March on Smog Veil Records.

As an artist, Mr. Morton has participated in exhibitions as ,"the Times Square Show" in 1981 and "Yuma Peligroso", a one person exhibition in Havana, Cuba in 2000.

Mr. Morton received a certificate in Internet Technologies from [the prestigious] New York University in 2000 and has been into the breech of the www ever since.
